5,000 years into the future, the Earth we know is unrecognizable. Forests whisper in forgotten dialects. Machines sing lullabies to the wind. Aliens dance in slow, spiralling rhythms. Welcome to New Earth Bandits 2, a wildly original, outdoor theatrical experience where possible futures unfold all around you.

SNAFU is diving back into the world of New Earth Bandits (2023) with a bold new chapter in the saga. The 2025 production reimagines the future through the voices of local communities: artists on parole, Brazilian artists, and artists of all abilities from the Embrace Arts Foundation.
At the heart of the action is SNAFU’s creative hub the NEBula Workshop, where an ensemble of artists, crafters, sewers, puppeteers, and storytellers is hard at work bringing these imagined futures to life.

The washroom is in the parking lot at 1101 Munro Street. The washroom is quite large, but too small to fit mobility scooters.
If you need to use the washroom during the event, you are welcome to leave and come back. Treat the event like an easy hike.DURATION

This isn't LARPing.. but it's LARP adjacent. We wanna see costumes! Dress for the future you imagine.
WEATHER
New Earth Bandits will happen come RAIN OR SHINE! It gets windy by the ocean, so dress for all weather and wear comfortable shoes for walking the trails. The temperature drops quickly. Bring layers!
This is not a play in the traditional sense. There is no single path. No fixed storyline. You are free to explore the trails, tunnels, and battlements of Macaulay Point Park and stumble upon mysterious scenes, strange rituals, and unexpected performances lurking in the trees.
Featuring SNAFU's signature blend of live music, puppetry, physical theatre, and clown, New Earth Bandits 2 is a celebration of human (and post-human) absurdity, resilience, and imagination in the face of time’s relentless march.
